Abstract
276,032. Alten, V. von. Aug. 16, 1926, [Convention date]. Couplings for tractors.-At the front of the trailer are mounted a. cross-shaft T and wheels V on arms S pivoted at D. The tractor is fitted with inclined rails A and guides K parallel with the rails. The guides are continued by curved resilient portions J, L. When the tractor is backed the shaft T mounts the rails and rollers Z on the arms S pass on to the guides K. When the rollers reach the parts J, L, the wheels V are raised and on further movement the shaft T is secured by a hook F<1>. In this position the rims of the wheels V may rest upon resilient stops on the rear axle of the tractor.
