649,171. Vehicle undercarriages. CHAPLIN, W. D., and CRANE, W. F. June 24, 1948, No. 17068. [Class 108(ii)] In a road vehicle having twin rear wheels mounted on a bogie, the bogie is readily detachable. As shown, the twin rear wheels 1, 2 are carried by a bogie which includes cross members 8, 9. To each end of cross members 8. 9 is secured a socket 10 which detachably receives frame member 11. The frame member is secured in position by a locking pin passed through holes in the socket 10 and the frame member 11.
