Abstract

212,950. Heise, A. March 31, 1923, [Convention date]. Couplings for tractors.-Trailers are coupled to tractors by an inextensible pulling connection and by a telescopic steering connection. In the construction shown diagrammatically in plan, the pulling connection 4 is pivoted at or towards the centre of the endless-track tractor 1, 2, and its free end is furnished with an eye for attachment of a chain or other connection to the trailer. The steering connection consists of a telescopic pole 6, connected at its rear end to the tractor steering wheels and at its front end to the eye 5 at the rear of the tractor frame.
