Abstract

219,086. Sparrow, J. J. K., and Eagle Engineering Co., Ltd. April 18, 1923. Couplings for tractors. - A universal coupling is attached to the tractor at a lower level than the axle and is adapted to support part of the weight of the trailer. The jawed member 5 is attached to the tractor and carries a bolt 8 which is pivoted in the jaws by a removable pin. The bolt 8 forms a pivot for the head of a bolt 10 which passes through a sleeve secured to a bracket 13 carried by the front end of the trailer drawbar.
