273,124. Moylan, C. D. Sept. 21, 1926. Couplings for road vehicles.-A coupling devised to prevent rising of the front of the tractor with excessive load comprises a bracket 1, and guide 8, through a slot 10 in which latter passes a draw-bar 6. An apertured link 4 is pivoted as shown between the end of the bar 6 and an arm of the bracket, the trailer being attached to the link. The bar 6 is connected to the tractor at a point 12 low down at the front. The link 4 and bracket 1 may be dispensed with and the trailer attached directly to the bar 6.
