Abstract
10,806. Dickson, C. H. Nov. 7. Slipping of wheels, preventing.-To prevent side-slip in motor and other road vehicles, levers h, of which only one is shown, are pivoted beneath the rear axle on each side of a wheeled trailer so that when side-slip occurs the frame c of the trailer engages one or other of the levers h so as to press on a frame d and increase the load on the trailer-wheel. The frame d is supported by springs e on the frame c, and to minimize shock, springs i may be inserted between the frame c and levers h. The trailer frame c is pivotally connected to the vehicle by a forwardly-extending arm.
