Abstract

3005. Stangenberg, F. W. Feb. 5. Winch-actuated platform load-handling machines.-A hoist for building materials comprises a winch-actuated platform sliding on guide beams made up of lengths stepped into one another, the platform being adapted to swing horizontally for discharging. Beams 1, 2 made up of channelsection lengths stepped into one another as building proceeds are braced together by V- shaped pieces, and secured to the wall by struts 5. A sliding shoe 11 embraces the guides, plates 14 connected to which carry eyes 15 for a pin 16 about which the platform 17 can swing. The lifting rope is attached to the shoe and passes over the head sheave 9 to a two-speed friction-driven winch.
