Abstract

22,974. Jaggli, J. Oct. 11. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-In a fuelinjection device, the fuel is conducted to a spiral groove 21 beyond the compressed-air valve 3, and is blown through by, and intimately mixed with, the compressed air. The fuel fills the crosssection of the groove 21 and, on reaching the mixing-chamber 14, is met by jets of air. The fuel jets are arranged parallel to the sides of the mixing-chamber, wherein the holes 5, 6 terminate. The central jet 10, arranged opposite to the hole 15 in the nozzle plate, is stated to guide the mixture.
