Abstract

16,843. Tricoche, A. July 22. Spray carburettors.- The primary air, supplementary air and the fuel are controlled simultaneously by hand. A double - conical valve f works in conjunction with a double-conical portion of the casing a to control the primary air, carries fuel orifices c, and has an extension d on which is adjustably screwed the supplementary-air valve j. The valve f slides over the nozzle b, upon which flats are formed to allow the fuel to pass from the needle valve c to the orifices e. The lower portion of the nozzle has a restricted orifice which allows of the passage of only sufficient fuel for maximum power.
