Abstract

Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-In apparatus of the kind in which air passes into the jet of liquid to atomize it, the liquid is caused to assume, between the nozzles a and d, and prior to egress, the shape of a disk, or disks, which are pierced by the compressed air passing through the aperture c. The air supply to the nozzle c may be controlled by a valve adjusted by hand or by the engine governor.
