Abstract

Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-To ensure that the fuel reaches the combustion space in advance of the atomizing air, the fuel is supplied by the conduit H below the atomizer C and rises up through it. When the valve B is opened,the fuel reverses its direction. The space G is made as small as possible. In cases where the atomizer is of higher resistance, the conduit H is led to a point immediately below the atomizer and above the fuel cone D.
