Abstract

442,899. Fuel injectors. VEGLIO, E. P., 37, Via Pelvo, Turin, Italy. Sept. 15, 1934, No. 26548. [Class 7 (iii)] A fuel-injection valve 6 seats on a disc 8 clamped to the nozzle body 1 by a nut 9, and cuts off communication between a passage 13 leading to the discharge orifices 14, a groove 10 forming a fuel-inlet opening, and the bore in which the valve is guided. The fuel is supplied to the groove 10 from a passage 11 through a groove 15 and passage 12 and raises the valve against the action of a spring 3. The groove 10 may be formed in the valve 6.
