Abstract

738,769. Fuel injectors. SATZGER, E. Nov. 26, 1952 [Dec. 20, 1951], No. 29912/52. Class 7(3). In a fuel injection nozzle having a needle valve 7 with a pin 9 on the valve head 6 throttling the fuel flow through a cylindrical orifice 10, the fuel spraying passages 14 are inclined to the nozzle axis and have their inner apertures 13 situated directly below the throttling gap between the pin 9 and orifice 10, the generatrices of which orifice intersect the apertures 13 in an arc which passes through or near the centre of the aperture. The passages 14 are formed in a separate plate 16.
