Speed-indicator transmission mechanism. - Mechanism for driving auxiliary apparatus, such as the speed-counter, of internal-combustion eugines comprises a triangular or polygonal plate 7 connecting equal cranks 9. 10, 11 on three or more auxiliary shafts 3, 4, 5 to an eccentric 8 on the main crank-shaft 2. In the arrangement shown, the shaft 3 drives the magneto 24, the shaft 4 drives a lighting-dynamo 25, and the shaft 5 may actuate an oil or water pump. Similar shafts may be provided for other accessories, such as the air fan, speed-counter &c.
