Abstract

195,284. Marchand, H. April 25, 1922. Dynamos, driving.- The current of water for cooling an engine cylinder is used to drive through a motor some auxiliary device such as the radiator cooling fan or the lighting and igniting dynamo. A cooling fan 5 is shown on the same shaft as a water wheel 3, the water from the pump 1 being directed by a valve 6 in the required quantities to the wheel and to the cylinder jacket direct.
