Abstract

158,500. Russell, E. L. Nov. 4, 1919. Cylinders, cooling.-A radiator 30 built up of sheet-metal sections is secured to the cvlinder jacket by studs 43 passing through the pipes 42 which connect the radiator to the jacket. The radiator is enclosed in a perforated casing 29 through which air is forced by a fan 83. A water tank 86 connected with the radiator by a pipe 85 is supported upon the casing 29 and another casing 87 which rests upon an electric generator 57 driven by the engine and serves to contain electrical instruments.
