Abstract

2938. Rogers, J. E. Feb. 6. Drawings to Specification. Cylinders, construction of, and cooling.-In an engine in which the combustion chamber is of tubular or cellular form, a current of air for cooling is induced by the exhaust. In aircooled engines the air-current is directed on the explosion chamber, and in water-cooled engines on the water jacket surrounding the explosion chamber.
