Window stops. - A lever pivoted to the window-frame at a<3> is formed with a projection a<1> in the path of a part c<1> on a plate c secured to the sash, which is thus stopped against upward movement at a predetermined point, unless the lever is first raised into the position shown in dotted lines. Stops b', b<2>, limit the movement of the lever, which is arranged to permit the sash to be lowered freely. A pin e may be passed through a hole a' to lock the device.
