Abstract

212,800. Baker, J. W. June 18, 1923. Stays.-The part 4 is cranked as shown in order that when a perforation of the stay engages with a pin 11 of the guide loop 9 secured to the frame, the plane of the stay is at right angles to the pin. When the window is closed, the bracket 6 in which the stay is pivotally mounted passes through the guard 9 so that the stay may turn freely about its pivot 5 for engagement with a pin 14 to secure the casement in the closed position.
