Abstract

239,033. Mills, W. Aug. 14, 1924. Sliding bolts for window sashes.-The bolts E, mounted on the lower sash D to engage holes C in a plate A on the upper sash is operated by a cam F on a pivot H in one of a series of holes I at the end of the bolt. The cam carries a cord G with a pin K at its end, which can be inserted in one of the holes M, N to lock the bolt in the shot or retracted position. Electrical connections may also be provided by which tampering with the spring plunger would sound an alarm.
