Machine guns.-Relates to the Vicker's automatic gun in which the cartridges are fed from right to left through the feed box, and consists in providing a feed box arranged for left to right feed and interchangeable with the existing feed box. In the form shown, the usual slide A<3> of the feed box A is reciprocated by means of a bellcrank lever a, a<1>, the arm a<1> of which has a slot which is engaged by a pin extending from an arm: b<1>. This arm is rocked in a boss B<1> under the action of the usual arm b engaging the recoil plate of the gun.
