[Class 92 (ii)] A belt or strip fed cartridge feed box, which is adapted to replace a box magazine, has a transverse conduit through which the belt or strip is fed by a member 10 on a transverse slide 12 reciprocated by the gun mechanism, the conduit being provided with a ramp 19 for raising a cartridge from the belt into the path of movement of the breechblock.
