Cable sleeves and like end constructious.-In electric cables, flexible conductors, and the like, the braiding c is continued back upon itself for a short distance from the exposed end of the conductor. If desired, the binding may be continued back upon itself three or more times. The raw end of the binding may be lapped with silk &c. or covered by the usual outer covering of the cable. The same arrangement may be used at the bifurcations in a twin-wire cable.
