Inductances. - A cable-form load con. sists of a single helical conductor h laid around a single core f of subdivided iron in linear form, which may be laid at an angle g to the rectilinear axis of the core, the conductor being laid at an angle i. The conductor may be in the form of a tape, or may be square in section, and is insulated at m from the core. Specifications 12733/00 and 9040/02, [Class 36, Electricity, Conducting &c.], are referred to.
