[Class 36.] Cables a, which may be surrounded by stranded annular conductors b, and which may be associated with a pilot c and a neutral wire d, have the insulation e surrounded bv a flexible conductive sheath f separated from a similar sheath h by a sleeve g of insulating material. The sheaths f, h consist of stranded wires or tapes laid closely together and helically wound in opposite directions. The sheaths f, h, covered with insulation i, form a protective system and actuate a trip mechanism for the main cable when the cable is mechanically injured. Specifications 17530/08 and 24076/09, [both in Class 36, Electricity, Conducting &,c.], are referred to.
