A tray-like carton formed from a blank as shown in Fig. 1 comprises a bottom panel 1 and a top panel 18 formed with sides 7, 16 connected by gusset panels 9, 10, on assembling the box, extension panels 2 lie outside panels 16 and tongues 4 are passed through slits 17. The lid 18 is cut and scored as shown so that a flap 20 may be bent back as shown in Fig. 2. Flap 21 lies underneath and parallel to the top 18, flap 20 lies adjacent walls 16 and 2 and extension 25 fits through a slot 26 which is adjacent slot 17. Cut-out portions 24 provide finger grips to assist in collapsing the tray after use. The blank may be of double-backed corrugated paper, cardboard or fibre-board. Holes 12 at the junction of crease lines 11, 19 assist the folding of gusset panel 9, 10.
