Abstract

A cardboard tray for shirts has inclined end and double layered side walls and a panel 15 extending partly over the open top and side walls of the tray. Corner bellows 8 are tucked inside a double layered end wall formed by panels 6 and 10, a flap 13 resting on the bottom of the tray and tabs 12 lying in openings 14 in a side panel 4. Corner bellows 9 at the other end of the tray are folded inwardly and the panel 15 is folded over to partially cover the open top. Lateral extension 16 of the panel 15 are laid against the side panels 3, slots 5 in which are engaged by tongues 17. In an alternative embodiment, panels (28, 29) (Fig. 4, not shown), partially cover the open top at opposite ends of the tray.
