1,109,290. Carton trays. SPRINTER-PACK A.B. 5 Aug., 1965 [7 Aug., 1964], No. 33653/65. Heading B8P. A carton tray, Fig. 2 (not shown), is formed from a blank having slits 88-90 by folding down panels 96, 97 to form end walls and panels 93 to form side walls, locking flaps 95 being folded in to lie along the inside of the side walls 93; panels 94 are then folded under with flaps 98 lying against the inside of end walls 96, 97 and engaging, at an edge, flaps 95 to lock the side walls, end walls, and panels 94; looking tongues 99 are then folded under to underlie panels 94 with their central portions overlying a bottom forming panel 91 connected to side walls 93 by sloping walls 92; panels 100, 101 form top wall portions vertically spaced from the bottom forming panel 91 by virtue of the shape of the slits 88, 89.
