Abstract

540,280. Boxes for ampoules and other articles. WINFIELD, J. L., and GLAXO LABORATORIES, Ltd. Aug. 28, 1940, No. 13580. [Class 18] A container for ampoules &c. is formed from a single blank shaped as shown, the body being constituted by holding up the side panels about the bottom 1 so that panels 14, 13 fold on fold lines 9 and panels 11 lie along the bottom, while panel 17 forms an inner wall and panel 19 an 'outer wall, panel 18 lying between them. The side walls of the lid are constituted by panels of 4, panels 7 being on the inside. Panel 29 passes diagonally across the body of the container panel 23 being turned upwardly to lie against panel 19. Tongues 30 may be pressed downwardly so that ah ampoule &c. may be inserted in each opening so formed and lie on the tongue. In a modified form panel 29 contains two sets of tongues separated by panel 23 which in this form is positioned vertically across the middle of the box, a panel 29 lying diagonally across each half of the box.
