Abstract

519,456. Cardboard &c. boxes. BOXFOLDIA, Ltd., and HARRIS, T. R. Sept. 24, 1938, No. 27893. [Class 18] A non-corrugated cardboard &c. box has panels 18 extending obliquely inwards from the corners to support the edge of 'the lid along substantially its entire length. Flaps 20 may be omitted, and the meeting lines of the panels 18 may be arranged so that the parts are mechanically secured together, e.g. by a tongue and slot, or by engaging one panel in a split in the other. There may be a single panel 18 at each side extending the entire length of the side, and this may be integral with the box blank or separate and secured by staples. Specification 436,611 is referred to.
