453,663. Folding boxes. BOXFOLDIA, Ltd., Dale Road, Bournbrook, and HARRIS, T. R., 78, Lottie Road, Selly Oak, both in Birmingham. May 29, 1935, No. 15586. [Class 18] A folding box is made from a blank comprising a base a and sides b, c, d, the sides b, c carrying extensions b<1>, c<1> which are turned nwardly and engaged with the base by means of tongues and slots b<2>, c<3>. Flaps c<2>, d<1> are notched or fastened between the sides b and their extensions b<1> and flaps b<3> are similarly engaged between side c and extension c<1> to form walls which are substantially of triplicate thickness. The back d is reinforced inside the box by interengaged flaps b<4>. To display the box, the lid e is doubled about the line e' and the flange e<3> slipped between the back d and flaps b', and, if desired, the side flanges of the lid may be torn off.
