Abstract
701,212. Boxes. TAYLOWE, Ltd. Dec. 11, 1951 [Sept. 11, 1950 ; March 7, 1951], Nos. 22310/50 and 5547/51. Class 18 Boxes produced from blanks substantially as described in Specification 656,015 have one or more internal :edges formed by parts of the blanks. In one embodiment, Fig. 4, the inner wall layer is creased so that on folding up the side walls, ledges 5 are produced. End wall extensions 8b enclose tabs 12. 14 on the side walls and tabs 15 on the ledges, tongues 17 fitting between the outer end walls and the ledges. The elements 15 and 17 are optional. In further embodiments, extensions 18a, 18b, 18c of the inner base layer form ledges against the end walls. The outer base layer may be extended to produce a display lid 2,2 or such a lid may be fitted separately. Separate lids as described in Specification 656,015 may be employed. The ledges may have flaps and apertures 30, 32, Fig. 14, to form locating and securing means for contents such as ampules. The boxes may form slides of drawer-and-shell containers.
