397,926. Folding-boxes. SHIRLEY, F. J., 33, Alexandra Grove, North Finchley, London. March 4, 1932, No. 6597. [Class 18.] A folding-box of sheet material such as cardboard, strawboard, sheet metal, &c. of the type wherein two opposed side walls comprise each a wall section 28, 29, Figs. 1 and 2, and two interengaging flaps 20, 22 and 21, 23, hinged to adjacent side walls, has these side walls of two thicknesses 14, 15 and 17, 18, the flaps being hinged to the inner walls 14, 18, Lugs 31 .. 34 may also be provided on the wall section 28, 29 adapted to lie between the two pairs of walls 14, 15 and 17, 18. Flanges 36, 37 may also be provided. A lid secured by staples or adhesive at 41 may be provided comprising a tuck-in flap 43 and a display segment 46, the flap 43 engaging inside or outside the wall 17 to close the box.
