Boxes made from special blanks. - A box of the type folded from a flat blank into an open ended tube and retained in this form by integral tongue pieces projecting from one lateral edge of the blank interlocking witli slots near the opposite edge, has a plurality of approximately T-shaped tongues 2<a>, each of which engages with a pair of lateral slots 3<a>, combined with an additional, independent, tongue, or tongues 2b each of which engages with a single Slot 3<b> parallel to the axis of the tube. The tube is closed by flanged lids which may be secured in position by adhesive. The blank may be of cardboard, stiff paper, or equivalent flexible material.
