Abstract

A cardboard carton made from a single blank has four side panels 2, 3 folded up from the edges of the base panel, the opposite sides 2 having extensions 4, 5 which are folded inwardly to engage the contents of the carton and the other sides 3 having lid panels 6 with extensions 7 which tuck down inside the sides 2. The extensions 5 may be apertured or slit to engage part of the contents and adjacent turned-in free edges of panels 5 may be joined together.
