Abstract

1325214 Cartons ASHTON CONTAINERS Ltd 13 July 1972 [11 Aug 1971] 37691/71 Heading B8P [Also in Division D1] A carton of solid or corrugated cardboard has portions 24, 31 and 26 (Fig. 3) extending inwardly of foldable end flaps to locate the contents-which may be bobbins. The carton blank comprises body panels 10-13, inner end closure flaps 15, 17 and outer end closure flaps 16, 18, flaps 15, 17 each being folded to form inner and outer panels 15a, 15b and 17a, 17b. Cut-outs in flaps 15, 17 provide portions 20, 24 and 26 that project into the carton and also form apertures 25, 27 that locate the ends of articles packed in the cartons. The outer flaps 16, 18 have tabs 30, 31, tabs 30 projecting into the carton and tabs 31 engaging with the portions 24.
