Abstract

927,863. Stacking boxes. ASHTON CONTAINERS Ltd. Sept. 30, 1960 [Sept. 30, 1959], No. 33138/59. Class 18. A carton formed from the blank shown in Fig. 1 has corner pillars formed of panels 11, 21, 25 surrounding a strut portion 10. The carton is held erect by portions 13 folded over to enclose extensions 17 on adjacent sides, lugs 15 engaging slots 16. The pillars may be formed of four panels forming a rectangular section pillar. The carton may be formed of two plain outer layers and an intervening corrugated layer.
