Abstract

The packaging for transporting spheroidal items or items such as biscuit packets of awkward shape, allows a group of items to be stacked in the same carton. The carton is made from a single blank, with fold lines. Each of the main top and bottom panels (10) has a cutout section (15) forming a lid (16). The two cutout panels (16) are folded back parallel to the top and bottom surfaces, and folded to conform to the edges and corners of the carton. The end tabs are finally inserted in the slits at the corners of the opposite face of the carton.
