La présente invention concerne une bande ou tôle, destinée à la fabrication d’échangeurs thermiques brasés, comprenant une couche d’âme 18, éventuellement une couche de couverture 16, 17 sur une ou deux faces de la couche d’âme 18 et éventuellement une couche intercalaire sur une ou deux faces de la couche d’âme 18 placée entre la couche d’âme 18 et la couche de couverture 16, 17, la couche d’âme 18 étant en alliage d’aluminium de la série 6xxx ayant la composition suivante, en pourcentages massiques : Si : de 0,45 à 0,75 % ; Fe : de 0,18 à 0,40 % ; Cu : ≤ 0,40 % ; Mn : ≤ 0,30 % ; Mg : de 0,25 à 0,56 % ; Ti : < 0,050 % ; optionnellement V : de 0,05 à 0,16 % ; impuretés inévitables : < 0,05 % chacune et < 0,15 % au total ; reste aluminium.
