Abstract

Soupape thermostatique d'une installation de refroidissement d'un moteur à combustion interne, qui est équipée d'un élément thermostatique de travail (12). La cage (13) de l'élément de travail est montée en position fixe, le piston de travail (17) est équipé de la tête (18) de la soupape principale qui enveloppe ladite cage (13) et comporte des passages (22) dans ses parois latérales, ce piston étant également équipé de la tête (27) de la soupape de court-circuit et la cage (13) de l'élément de travail se trouve au moins en partie librement dans le fluide de refroidissement arrivant du radiateur, sur le côté de la tête (18) de la soupape principale qui est tourné à l'opposé du piston de travail (17). Application notamment au circuit de refroidissement des moteurs des véhicules automobiles.
