Abstract

L'invention est relative à un procédé pour préparer simultanément de l'éther méthyl-tertiobutylique pur et des hydrocarbures en C4 par réaction à haute température sur du méthanol en phase liquide en présence d'échangeurs d'ions. Selon l'invention, on utilise plusieurs colonnes de rectification dont on recycle les queues dans le réacteur, en travaillant dans ce réacteur à des températures de 50 à 100 degrés C. Le procédé permet d'obtenir dans le raffinat une teneur en isobutène inférieur à 0,25 % en poids.
