Abstract

Procédé de fabrication d'alcools par réaction d'hydrogène avec le monoxyde de carbone. On opère en présence d'un catalyseur contenant du cuivre, du cobalt, un metal alcalin et un metal choisi dans le groupe : chrome, fer, vanadium et manganèse. On obtient préférentiellement des alcools primaires saturés linéaires.
