Abstract

Matière carbonée active comprenant un composant du type métal du groupe du fer. On la forme en faisant agir en 5 un gaz contenant CO sur un initiateur ferreux de disproportionation de CO, et la matière est ensuite admise à réagir en 15, 18 avec un gaz contenant de l'hydrogène pour former du méthane en consommant une partie du carbone de la matière, que l'on régénère ensuite par réaction de CO. Application notamment à l'élimination des composés du soufre et à la catalyse des réactions chimiques.
