Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención de ácido metacrílico mediante un catalizador, por oxidación de metacroleina con oxígeno molecular o gas conteniendo oxígeno molecular, caracterizado porque a una temperatura de reacción entre 200ºC y 380ºC se realiza la reacción mediante un catalizador teniendo una estructura de heteropoliácido y la fórmula general: MoaVbPcCudXeOf en que Mo, V, P, Cu y O, respectivamente representan molibdeno, vanadio, fósforo, cobre y oxígeno, X representa uno o más elementos seleccionados del grupo consistente en estaño, torio, germanio, níquel, hierro, cobalto, magnesio, zinc, titanio, plomo, renio, zirconio y cromo y, a, b, c, d, e y f representan la proporción atómica de los elementos, en que a es 10 b es un número de 3 ó menos que 3, excluyendo 0 c es un número de 0,5 a 3, d es un número de 3 ó menos de 3, excluyendo 0 e es un número de 3 ó menos que 3, excluyendo 0 f es un número determinado, dependiente de la valencia y proporción atómica de otros elementos.
