Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención de metacroleina y de ácido metacrílico, oxidando isobutileno y/o butanol terciario con oxígeno molecular o un gas conteniendo oxígeno molecular en la fase de vapor en presencia del catalizador de tipo específico. Los procedimientos proponen, para producir ácidos monocarboxílicos insaturados a partir de correspondientes olefinas, que consistían dos etapas: en la primera etapa, se producen aldehidos correspondientes por el uso de un catalizador y, en la segunda etapa, los aldehidos insaturados son convertidos en los ácidos carboxílicos insaturados correspondientes por el uso de un catalizador diferente del utilizado en la primera etapa.
