Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à la découpe sur forme de feuilles de verre. La machine de découpe suivant l'invention est du type à commande numérique et comporte un chariot en forme de croix se déplaçant dans deux directions rectangulaires grâce à des moteurs commandés à partir d'un programme enregistré sur bande magnétique par l'intermédiaire d'un circuit électronique du type à transistor, à thyristor ou électrohydraulique. Suivant l'invention le chariot en forme de croix se déplace sur deux rails de guidage perpendiculaires 12, 11 formant les axes de coordonnees X, Y disposés dans deux plans différents et recouvrant la totalité de la surface de la feuille de verre à découper. Ces rails se déplacent sur le bâti de la machine par l'intermédiaire de coulisseaux et de guides 13-15, 14-16, 17-19, 18-20; sous l'action de moteurs montés à poste fixe sur la machine, le transfert du mouvement sans glissement depuis ces moteurs jusqu'aux dits rails s'effectuant à l'aide de courroies à crémaillères.
