Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation de protéine monocellulaire par culture de bactéries du genre Methylomonas dans des conditions aérobies dans un milieu nutritif contenant du méthanol comme source de carbone, des sources d'azote et des sels minéraux essentiels, caractérisé en ce qu'on utilise une souche de l'espèce Methylomonas clara ATCC 31 226 et on maintient la concentration en méthanol entre 5 et 150 ppm, par rapport au poids du milieu nutritif.
