Procedimiento para la preparación de masa celular bacteriana por cultivo de bacterias de la familia Methylomonas en condiciones aerobias en un medio nutricio que contiene metanol como manantial de carbono, manantiales de nitrógeno y sales minerales esenciales, caracterizado porque se utiliza una cepa de la especie Methylomonas clara ATCC 31226, y porque la concentración de metanol se encuentra entre 5 y 150 ppm, referido al peso del medio nutricio.
