Abstract

Procedimiento de obtención de proteína unicelular mediante fermentación microbiana de un alcohol, mas especialmente un alcohol alifático de cadena recta que contiene de 1 á 16 átomos de carbono por molécula en virtud de la acción de un microorganismo capaz de asimilar dicho alcohol como fuente principal de carbono, estando dicho procedimiento caracterizado porque la zona de fermentación se mantenga sustancialmente llena de espuma.
