Abstract

The stay rod mechanism for tilting and rotating windows or doors has stay rod which is concealed in closed state in horizontal grooves between the upper-part of the moving frame and the fixed frame. The frame end of the stay arm (9) and the hinge plate (18) of the pivoting hinge sleeve (17) are connected by an angle plate shaped connecting piece (24) whose vertical arm (25) is coupled with the hinge plate (18) and the horizontal arm (26) of the angle plates forms a sliding member with prismatic cross section into which is pushed the connecting end (33) of the stay arm. The screw (35) is connected through the end plate into the sliding end of the stay arm for stepless adjustment purposes.
